Das Airrail Center Frankfurt direkt am Flughafen Frankfurt am Main wurde als multifunktionaler Gebäudekomplex auf dem bestehenden Dach ("Platte") des ICE-Fernbahnhofs errichtet. In nur 10 Monaten entstand ein 660 Meter langes, 65 Meter breites und 9 Geschosse hohes „liegendes Hochhaus“.

Aufgabenstellung
The building complex is subdivided into office, catering and retail areas as well as 2 hotels. Due to the special situation of building above the existing railway infrastructure and in direct proximity to the airport, the project required particularly careful planning and coordination. KVL provided project management services throughout all phases.
