Projects must be managed.

To success.

Professional project management ensures clear processes, transparent communication and goal-oriented decisions – from the first idea to successful realisation. As the client’s representative, we take on all management tasks from project control and project leadership, or individually tailored partial services aligned precisely with project needs. This covers all standard and special services of the Project Control § 2 AHO Booklet 9 and Project Leadership § 3 AHO Booklet 9 service profiles, as well as the supplementary project management service profiles in accordance with AHO Booklet 19.

Project Control &
Project Leadership

In project management, we are your reliable partner – with an eye for the big picture and a feel for the details. We control costs, schedules, quality and structures – methodically sound, forward-thinking and adaptable. Especially in times of increasing complexity, scarce resources and high expectations, we use proven tools, experience and a clear stance to keep your project on track. Our goal: strong teams, solid decisions and successful realisation – in line with your requirements.

LEAN Management

Time losses and coordination problems cost money. LEAN management provides a remedy – with a clear process structure, binding coordination and genuine transparency. On the construction site, everyone knows who is doing what, where and when – and disruptions are identified immediately. We apply LEAN in our schedule management and accompany projects as experienced LEAN managers. Our VIVA principle ensures measurable progress, clear processes and efficient collaboration – analogue, digital or hybrid.

BIM Management

We provide professional BIM management for your project – from early goal definition and the creation of project-specific requirements to the coordination of model-based collaboration among all stakeholders. We structure processes, establish clear responsibilities and ensure BIM delivers its full added value: higher planning quality, transparent workflows, reliable schedule and cost forecasts, and the integration of lifecycle costs – from the outset and independent of the tools used.

Risk Management

Professional risk and conflict management forms the basis for successful project delivery. Through early identification of risk potentials, categorising all factors into risk groups and specifying risks according to their impact (risk classification), we proactively counteract unwanted surprises. We assess the probability of occurrence across various scenarios and project phases and initiate countermeasures in a timely manner to avoid unforeseen disruptions and cost impacts.

Project Controlling

Hidden risks, shaky processes, unclear claims? We get to the bottom of things. We review construction contracts, monitor progress and always keep the client’s objectives in focus. With a sharp eye for figures and schedules and a penchant for precision, we ensure construction execution becomes project success. For those who prefer to uncover issues rather than wait for them.

Construction Management

No site supervision team available? That’s where construction management comes in – site supervision made light. We tender works, accompany execution, review invoices and document construction progress. This includes construction controlling, reports, photos and a watchful eye on target versus actual. For those who prefer to delegate site supervision – with oversight instead of overload.
"The support and management of construction projects must be tailored as individually as the projects themselves. This requires a broadly positioned partner to successfully cover all aspects from project structure planning to commissioning management."
Thomas Penske, Managing Partner

Construction Mediation

Contractual disputes in the construction industry are increasingly tying up significant human and financial resources. Long-running legal battles severely hinder both business and personal relationships, making future collaboration difficult or even impossible.

To avoid such disputes, mediation has become an effective out-of-court conflict resolution process. The procedure is voluntary and consensus-oriented. All parties involved in the conflict participate in the process. An impartial mediator supports the parties in developing a consensus-based solution through a fair process. The mediator is responsible for professionally facilitating the process to encourage consensus. Mediation typically concludes with a binding, actionable agreement between the parties to resolve the conflict. By developing solutions together and taking personal responsibility for the outcome, the parties are able to build sustainable, long-term relationships that extend well beyond the process itself.

This book introduces mediation as an out-of-court conflict resolution method and demonstrates its application using real-world case studies from the construction industry. It draws on experience from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Intelligent Procurement Strategies for Major Projects

An Overview

The authors examine the prerequisites for a successful procurement strategy in major projects. They begin by analyzing the risks for those involved in construction and presenting various options for awarding planning and construction services. Subsequently, they discuss the possibilities and limitations of recently "trendy" procurement models, specifically Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts and the appointment of construction managers. Building on this, and on an analysis of the typical structure of a (large) construction project, a procurement model is developed that accounts for the risks faced by project participants while providing the client with the necessary flexibility. This allows the client to realize a construction project that meets their expectations regarding cost, quality, and schedule within a competitive environment.

Construction Project Management

Fundamentals and Procedures

This textbook provides a systematic introduction to the project management of construction facilities. It explains the foundation for successfully executing construction projects with regard to economic, scheduling, and technological goals.

The authors provide precise answers to questions such as: What exactly does project management mean? What scope of services does it cover? What legal constraints must be considered? The reader is taught the methods in detail, from the initial project idea to final commissioning.

To ensure optimal process control during the planning and realization of construction facilities, all management fundamentals are explained and supplemented by numerous illustrations and practical examples. The authors have also dedicated a separate chapter to the use of new methods such as BIM and Lean Construction Management.

This successfully established book has become a structured foundation for goal-oriented project work in the construction industry.
